Ingredient Notes
Peaches – Sweet summer peaches make up a big part of this punch. Make sure you are using nice, ripe peaches for the best flavor. Frozen peaches work well here, too. Check out our tutorial on how to save your fingers and peel peaches easily. Pineapple Sherbet – Find this by the ice cream at your store. If you aren’t able to find it, feel free to sub a similar flavor. There are a lot of easy recipes out there to make your own. Peach Jell-O – This may seem like a strange addition, but peach Jell-O adds a nice punch of peach flavor and helps this punch reach its correct slushy consistency.
How to Make Slushy Peach Punch
Serving Suggestions
This slushy punch is a great option for larger gatherings where you need to prep ahead. The fact that it’s frozen and slushy makes it extra enticing for outdoor summer gatherings, and means that it could be served all by itself for a stand-alone refreshment. If you’d like other options, keep things light with a fruit or veggie tray. How far ahead of time can I make this? This is a great recipe for planning ahead! In theory, the frozen mixture should last a long time in the freezer. If making this for an event, however, I would probably freeze it no more than a week ahead of time. Transport your frozen mixture and sherbet in a cooler filled with ice (or even dry ice if you have a long way to go) and then assemble everything a few minutes before serving.
