It’s a popular pasta recipe for kids and adults alike. In my home I make it ever so often, especially when kids are visiting, its been always a hit. The best thing about making Pasta in red sauce is I do not require fancy ingredients, still, this is one of my best pasta sauce ever. And, most of the ingredients for making pasta are available at the nearest grocery store. I make a big jar and use it for pasta, pizza, sandwiches, grilled cheese and what not! Can’t say it is life changing pizza pasta sauce, but it is almost nearly that. I have used cheddar cheese in making red sauce for the pasta, you can use your favorite cheese.

Here are few tricks to make Best pasta at home

Never boil pasta until too mushy, Cook it exactly as per given on your package instructions, and immediately drain the water. Otherwise, the pasta keeps cooking in hot water and you may end up with overcooked clumpy pasta. Underdone is always better than overdone pasta because you can always cook it little more in pasta sauce. Always take out few tablespoons of pasta water before draining out pasta and add it later when you are cooking pasta in red pasta sauce. Adding fresh herbs add a lot of taste and flavor in pasta, as it absorbs flavors like a sponge. If you are using fresh herbs in making the sauce, try to add a bit more quantity than dried herbs which are more intense in flavors.
