Ingredient and Equipment list
Ice Cream Sandwiches – you can use any type of ice cream sandwiches you like. Smaller sizes will make them easier to dip. You may want to use a heftier popsicle stick for larger ones. I especially love Fat Boy brand! Chocolate Dipping Wafers – you can find these in the baking supply section of many grocers, or certainly in the candy aisle at craft stores. In place of dipping wafers, you could also use 1 cup chocolate chips melted in a double boiler with 1 teaspoon coconut or vegetable oil. You could also use a bottle of store-bought Magic Shell. Sprinkles – color combination of your choice! Cookie Sticks or Popsicle Sticks – Popsicle sticks will be more stable, but cookie sticks (available on amazon or at craft stores and some grocery stores) look extra cute. I only recommend cookie sticks if your ice cream sandwiches are on the smaller side. (My Fat Boys probably could have used a larger stick!)
