I love Fritters. Any kind! Any Shape, deep-fried, pan-fried I simply love to sink my teeth in crispy goodness of a well made fritter. Cauliflower is a vegetable that cauliflower or you either hate it or love it there is no other way about it. I am actually a convert, from cauliflower hater to cauliflower lover. If you are a regular you know already from the number of cauliflower recipes I have on the blog. But let’s come back to fritters, Zucchini fritters are another of my to go recipe to make quick stack of fritters. Now that I am talking how can I forget corn fritters that are perfect to serve as teatime snack during monsoons.
Ingredients for Cauliflower Fritters
Fresh: cauliflower parmesan cheese, eggs, bread crumbs, Olive oil Spices and Seasonings: salt, black pepper, parsley
How to Make Cauliflower Fritters (step by step pictures)
First blanc the cauliflower florets. Drain out the water and keep them aside to cool down. Chop the cauliflower into smaller pieces combine them with cornflour, grated cheese, egg, parsley, salt and pepper and bread crumbs.
If required you can add small amount of water ( look for the consistency of fritter batter in the video above). Heat olive oil in a skillet and drop small amount of batter with yor hand or spoon. Flatten them slightly Cook until golden and crispy from both the sides.
Cauliflower fritters are super easy, simple and quick to make. All you need is a mix of cauliflower and parmesan is one of the best taste combinations ever.
Recipe Notes and Tips
Make sure that cauliflower is not watery after blanching. Use kitchen towel to soak moisture if any. If you want to skip egg you can make it egg-free instead of eggs add 2tbsp chickpeas flour dissolved in 2-3 tablespoon of water.
