I prepare greens in a variety of ways, but during the summer months I LOVE making salads (like this kale and cabbage salad) or breaking out my juicer to make fresh juice. I have the Hurom Slow Juicer and love it. The only part I don’t love is cleaning the juicer, but alas, the fresh juice is totally worth the cleaning. Fresh juice is not only easy to make, but you can literally pack a ton of green veggies into one meal by drinking a juice like the one I’m sharing today. There’s much debate about whether juicing or blending is better and I sort of take the middle of the road approach. I like both for different reasons and tend to switch between the two. Since I’m sharing a juice recipe today, let’s talk about the benefits of juicing.
