5 20 Published Jun 06, 2024, Updated Jul 12, 2024 As I’m sure you’re aware, cottage cheese is the new cauliflower and we’re using it to make everything these days…. including low carb, high protein wraps! This recipe was trending on social media and as soon as I saw it, I knew it was something I needed to try. I made the recipe my own by using liquid egg whites instead of and egg and added some seasonings based on what I prefer and it turned out soo good! I love that it’s made with simple ingredients (real food) and that the wrap alone offers 34 grams of protein. The best part is that the wrap actually holds together really well and it’s soft and pliable making it perfect for using as a wrap or flatbread. I’ve made both flatbread sandwiches and wraps with this cottage cheese wrap! My favorite combo so far is the turkey club wrap I’m sharing below with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion. It’s delish!
Why You’ll Love This Recipe
High Protein – Packed with protein from cottage cheese and egg whites, this wrap is a nutritious option to keep you full and energized. Customizable – Fill your wrap with your favorite sandwich ingredients for endless variations and flavors. Healthy and Light – A great low-carb alternative to traditional wraps, perfect for a light yet satisfying meal.
cottage cheese wrap – made with a blend of cottage cheese and egg whites, seasoned with italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder for a flavorful base. peppered deli turkey meat – I used applegate farms, but any deli turkey will work. yellow onion – adds a bit of crunch and sharpness. cooked bacon – for that classic club sandwich flavor. Use turkey bacon instead if you prefer. tomato slices – fresh and juicy. lettuce – crisp and refreshing. avocado – creamy and full of healthy fats. mayo, Dijon mustard, or chipotle Bitchin’ Sauce – choose your favorite spread to add flavor.
