Step by Step Recipe

Spiced Mashed Potato Stuffing/covering In a separate bowl add mashed potatoes, salt, black pepper, cilantro, lime juice and mix well to make a potato stuffing.  In a big mixing bowl add rice flour, all purpose flour, salt and mixed herbs, Add 1 cup of water to make thick coating consistency, smooth and thick pakora batter.  Add water in small batches as you go to avoid lump formation. Make a smooth batter not runny to get crisp cover. To Assemble Bread Sandwich  Take one bread slice and layer 3 slices of tomatoes on it. Season the tomatoes with pepper and salt.  Place another slice of bread on top of it and place a cheese slice on it. Season the cheese with only pepper. Cover the cheese layer with another bread slice. Now the sandwich is ready. Cover it with spiced mashed potatoes from all around.  Spread the mashed potatoes like a sheet and carefully wrap the sandwich with it from all sides. Tuck the sides properly. Patch in mashed potatoes wherever needed.  Now dip this potato bread sandwich in the batter.  Deep fry these battered potato mixture clad bread slices in hot oil. Keep pouring hot oil from the sides so that the batter doesn’t come off.
