5 4 Published Jun 07, 2024, Updated Jul 10, 2024 I know it may sound strange to add avocado to your brownies, but trust me on this one! The avocado helps to make these brownies incredibly fudgy, rich and chocolatey. It also adds a creamy texture and helps to keep the brownies moist without any oil or butter. If you’ve tried my chocolate avocado pudding or chocolate avocado truffles you know that avocado makes for a great addition to dessert recipes and goes unnoticed. These brownies are seriously so good… I brought them to a girls night and they were polished off so fast. I can’t wait for you to try them!

cacao powder – can’t have brownies without cacao powder! Just make sure you’re using unsweetened cocoa powder. Cacao powder works as well. oat flour – to make these brownies gluten-free I went with oat flour. You can use store-bought or make homemade oat flour by blending oats in a food processor or blender until fine. baking powder – this is a must to help the brownies rise and become fluffy. avocado – we’re using avocado to replace the oil or butter in these brownies! It’s such a genius hack because it adds creaminess and healthy fats without affecting the flavor. eggs – these are needed to help bind the ingredients and add structure to the brownies. maple syrup – my favorite natural sweetener to use in baked goods. chocolate chips – I love the added chocolatey goodness chocolate chips add to the brownies. I recommend Enjoy Life dark chocolate chips which is allergen-friendly or Lily’s chocolate chips because they are low in sugar and calories.
